A final draft script in a green binder the production of James Cameron’s 1986 sci-fi classic Aliens.
Ellen Ripley (Sigourney Weaver) is found, frozen in time and floating in space, 57 years after the events of the first film. She agrees to help a group of marines after a human colony on LV-426, the planet where they found the xenomorph in the first film, goes dark. Once they land on the planet, things go from bad to worse very quickly...
This binder contains a final draft of the script written by James Cameron. It consists of 108 pages, including the title page and was printed September 1985. Each page has been hole-punched and is held in this hard, plastic binder. The script is unannotated but does have a handwritten note on the title page saying that it is 'For Cloggie', next to the number ‘128’. This item also comes with a pamphlet that contains cast and crew information, stills and a synopsis of the film.
There is wear from age and storage. For instance, the title page has considerable creasing and tearing where the holes are, so it is no longer held in place in the binder. There is also dust on the binder that has built up over the years, dark staining on some of the pages, and on the inside front and back covers there are markings where ink has transferred from another document.
The accompanying pamphlet is also creased and has suffered some staining. Overall, the items are in a fair condition.
Materials: Paper, Ferrous Metals, Plastic, Card.
