Ripley's (Sigourney Weaver) Inquest Disk

Stock #20077

"Get away from her, you bitch!"

A floppy disk made for James Cameron's 1986 sci-fi action sequel Aliens.

Ellen Ripley (Sigourney Weaver) is rescued from 57 years in hypersleep. Accompanied by a heavily-armed unit of colonial marines, Ripley returns to the moon where her crew once encountered a hostile alien creature.

This piece was made for the inquest scene early in the movie as Ripley has to explain the disastrous and scarring events of the ill-fated Nostromo and her crew, and for when Gorman (William Hope) says "we have Ripley's report on disk, I suggest you study it". The prop department made the disks after reading the script but they were ultimately never used on screen. The disk, an outdated method of storing files, is black and features a label that reads "AXL/2B.S. VID-CON REET .I. WARRANT OFFICER E. RIPLEY USS NOSTROMO 1128.9.A MISSION C.N8V".
