"Get away from her, you bitch!"
An operations room original hand-drawn production design artwork from James Cameron's 1986 action sci-fi film Aliens.
Ellen Ripley (Sigourney Weaver) is rescued by a deep salvage team after being in hypersleep for 57 years. The moon that the Nostromo visited has been colonized, but contact is lost. This time, colonial marines have impressive firepower, but will that be enough?
Artworks were made for the production to be used in the design and build of sets and props. This hand-drawn original pencil design artwork shows two different elevations of Hadley Hope's Operations room and a close-up detail drawing is in the middle, they specifically depict the ceiling in which a horde of xenomorphs climb through the vents. The design is marked as set "Int. Ops. Room Ceiling", Drawing No. 270 and has the initials "M.A.B." (possibly Michael Boone). The item shows minimal wear from production use with light creases and dents, it remains in an otherwise very good condition.
