A printed dyeline from the production of Ridley Scott’s 1979 horror sci-fi Alien.
Dyelines were used in the production by prop and set makers. The printed copy of a production-used original dyeline shows an exterior elevation, interior elevation and several details of the door that Ripley ejects the Alien into space, the features and design of the airlock door seen on screen differ to the diagrams shown on this dyeline. It is marked as set "Narcissus" and Drawing No. 289 and the artist is listed as J.M.
It has some minor discolouration along the top edge and light creasing, but remains in an otherwise excellent condition.
