Narcissus External 'Stage Layout inc. Gantry' Production Dyeline

Stock #125453

"Something has attached itself to him. We have to get him to the infirmary right away."

An Narcissus external 'Stage Layout inc. Gantry' production dyeline from the production of Ridley Scott's 1979 sci-fi horror Alien.

The Nostromo is a commercial mining ship on its way back to Earth with a payload of minerals. Midway, the ship's computer, Mother, wakes the crew (Sigourney Weaver, John Hurt, Harry Dean Stanton, Yaphet Kotto, Tom Skerritt, Ian Holm) from stasis so they can answer a signal from an unknown planetoid.

This dyeline shows the layout of the filming stage for the exterior of the Narcissus shuttle. It depicts how the Narcissus was vertically suspended from the stage ceiling to film the scene where the Alien was ejected from the shuttle. It is marked as set "Ext. Narcissus" and Drawing No. 338 and the artist was Benjamin Fernandez.

It has some minor discolouration and wear to the bottom edge, but it otherwise remains in an excellent condition.

Materials: Paper.
