The March Hare’s (Peter Sellers) trousers from William Sterling’s 1972 fantasy adventure Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland.

The March Hare wore his trousers when having the tea party with Alice (Fiona Fullerton) and the Mad Hatter (Robert Helpmann). The trousers are woollen with white plastic buttons inside the waistband, alongside a Bermans costume label which reads ‘Peter Sellers March Hare Alice’ and an Angels and Berman’s costumer label with ‘28W’ handwritten.

The trousers have some wear from production use and age, most notably some small holes, but they remain in an otherwise very good condition.
