Original Costume Department Reference Documents

Stock #31391

A set of production costume references used in the production of the Oliver Stone epic Alexander. Chronicling the life of the legendary king of Macedonia, Alexander (Colin Farrell) takes the throne following his father's assassination and proceeds to bring the world to heel in military campaigns across Greece, Persia and beyond, becoming one of the most famed generals in history.

Used in the creation of the film's many combat uniforms, arms and armour, these pictorial references gave an idea of how the costumes should appear as Alexander's army marched east along with amounts of those costumes to be produced. A wide range of references were used, with this particular set of references focused on the Greek and Persian armies during the battle at Guargemela.

Printed and attached to sheets of A4 paper, the set comprises seven double-sided pages and over twenty five images and remains in a very good condition with only minor wear from usage during the production.
