A prototype 'Pinocchio' wooden sign from Steve Barron's family adventure The Adventures of Pinocchio.

One of Geppetto's (Martin Landau) puppets, Pinocchio (Jonathan Taylor Thomas), comes to life and dreams of one day being a real boy.

The sign would have been created and used as a prototype for the wooden piece seen in the opening credits of the film when the title of the production appears on screen. Made from a wood, the piece features a grainy, bark-like texture all over and displays the puppets name carved into the wood.

The back of the sign remains unfinished and the piece shows minor wear from production use including marks and small intentional holes. The bottom edge of the sign displays a minor scuff. However, in spite of this wear, the sign remains in very good production-used condition.
