"You English! You think you're so superior, don't you? Well you're the filth of the planet! A bunch of pompous, badly dressed, poverty stricken, sexually repressed football hooligans!"

Hazel Pethig's personal script and autographed photos from Charles Crichton's 1988 crime comedy A Fish Called Wanda.

British gangster George Thomason (Tom Georgeson) and his hapless aide, Ken Pile (Michael Palin), draft a pair of arrogant Americans, grifter Wanda Gerschwitz (Jamie Lee Curtis) and weapons expert Otto West (Kevin Kline), for a massive diamond heist. When the job goes badly, Wanda attempts to seduce George's stuffy lawyer, Archie Leach (John Cleese), to find out where George hid the diamonds. Meanwhile, Ken repeatedly attempts to kill an elderly woman (Patricia Hayes) who witnessed the robbery.

Hazel Pethig was a costume designer who worked on the film, as well as several Monty Python films, their original television series and Doctor Who. This 5th draft script, written by John Cleese and Charles Crichton, features approximately 130 pages printed on blue, pink and white paper. Each page has a date printed at the top for when it was revised. The script is not in its original binding, and the cover is now slipped inside the front cover of the plastic folder. Many of the pages have been marked with annotated green tabs.

The script is accompanied by autographed photos of John Cleese and Kevin Kline, as well as nine behind-the-scenes photos from the production. All of the photos are in black and white. The collection has very little wear from production use and age and remains in an excellent condition.

Materials: Paper, Plastic, Ferrous Metals.
