A Spartan sword and scabbard from Zack Snyder’s historical fantasy 300. Based on the epic graphic novel by Frank Miller, 300 is a ferocious retelling of the ancient Battle of Thermopylae, in which 300 Spartans fought to the death against Xerxes and his massive Persian army. Facing insurmountable odds, their valour and sacrifice inspire all of Greece to unite against the Persian enemy.
This weapon and others like it were used by the Spartans as they defended the Hot Gates against the Persian horde. The sword is made of hard rubber with a leather-bound grip and a metallic silver paint finish that has been distressed to replicate the appearance of worked iron. The sheath is made of leather with metal rivet detailing and features a stitched belt loop on the rear.

Displaying some light wear from use, the set remains in very good condition and is presented in a stunning custom frame display featuring the film’s title artwork, stills from the film and an opening front panel allowing direct access to the piece.
