Based on the epic graphic novel by Frank Miller, "300" is a ferocious retelling of the ancient Battle of Thermopylae in which King Leonidas and 300 Spartans fought to the death against Xerxes and his massive Persian army. Facing insurmountable odds, their valour and sacrifice inspire all of Greece to unite against their Persian enemy, drawing a line in the sand for democracy…

The Propstore of London is proud to offer for sale a rare 'clean' shield used in the 2006 action film 300. The shield measures 88cm (34.5”) across. Made of vac-formed plastic and expertly painted to look like a real shield, the shield has a leather-flap that covers forearm straps on the back, and a leather wrapped handle, as well as a material covering on the back. This is a 'Stage 1' level shield, as first carried by the Spartan soldier's before they entered battle and thus began distressing their shields.

The prop comes with official paperwork and documentation from Warner Bros. Studios confirming the provenance.
