A Set of Twenty-Four Production Scripts from the first season of the Emmy Award winning drama, 24. Known as Day 1, the first season of this wildly successful show told an interweaving storyline in real-time. In the first season, Jack Bauer (Kiefer Sutherland) and the Counter Terrorist Unit (CTU) experience the longest day of their lives as they attempt to stop an assassination attempt on Presidential Candidate David Palmer (Dennis Haysbert) on the eve of the California Presidential Primary.
This collection of production scripts come bound in four three-inch binders, with a label on the spine indicating which episodes are featured in the binder. Each episode is filed in order, and is separated by a yellow insert with tabs indicating the episode number and hours that are portrayed. Due to the nature of secrecy and re-writes, each script has pages printed in various colors, as new scenes would be distributed in a different color paper. Some pages even include hand written notes from the shows producer. Though the collection does not include the Pilot script, the season finale script includes both alternate endings involving the fate of Jack Bauer’s family.
Each of the four binders measures approximately 11” x 11.5” x 3” (28cm x 29cm x 8cm) and while they feature minor wear from production use, they remain in excellent production used condition.
