A Metal Helmet from John McTiernan’s 1999 adventure epic, The 13th Warrior. In the film, Ahmed Ibn Fahdlan (Banderas) is an Arab ambassador. When he is exiled from his homeland he comes across a band of Norse warriors who he soon discovers he is destined to join.

This helmet was used as a background option for the soldier extras in the film. The main structure of the helmet was crafted out of metal which is fashioned with a decorative front plate made of resin, and a studded outline made from metal. Riveted to the collar of the helmet are two strips of brown leather, and the interior of the skull is lined with foam to provide comfort.

The helmet features a considerable amount of rust on the metal, but remains in otherwise good condition.
