I felt a great disturbance in the Force, as if millions of voices suddenly cried out in terror and were suddenly silenced.
A hand-traced pencil drawing by John Mollo, costume designer on George Lucas 1977 space opera Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope.
The Imperial Forces hold Princess Leia (Carrie Fisher) hostage, in their efforts to quell the rebellion against the Galactic Empire. Luke Skywalker (Mark Hamill) and Han Solo (Harrison Ford), captain of the Millennium Falcon, band together with R2-D2 (Kenny Baker) and C-3PO (Anthony Daniels) to rescue her.
This drawing is pencil on tracing paper, showing Obi Wan and his costume in full-length. At the bottom of the drawing is John Mollos signature. This drawing shows an alternative sketch of Obi Wans face to the right of the completed drawing. And behind the finished sketch of Obi Wan is evidence of several different shapes of his hood.
