A hero mechanical dying piranha fish from the 2012 horror sequel, Piranha 3DD. This style fish was used throughout the film's climatic ending for scenes where the fish are shown dying out of the water poolside after being shot up in the air during the explosion sequence.
Crafted out of silicone, this item features a highly detailed, scale painted exterior on the top side; with a gradating blue, green and yellow color scheme, as well as red accents around the gills and fins. The underside was not as detailed as this is where the battery controls are present
This particular fish has three interior buttons that were used to make the fish flop around on its’ own so it appeared dying for the production. This item also features a pair of yellow eyes and an open mouth filled with pointy silicone teeth and comes with a battery charger. The fish measures approximately 21" x 10" (53cm x 25cm), and displays some light wear from production use, but overall remains in good condition. The electronics on this piece have not been tested.
