A triangle repel unit used in the 2001 Steven Soderbergh ensemble film Ocean’s Eleven. Units such as this can be seen in the film as Danny Ocean (George Clooney) and crew repel down an elevator shaft to the vault floor below.
The chrome unit has two circular pieces on top for mounting and one spool of thin retractable metal wire with an attached hook. Adding to the already impressive piece is a triangle LED light display with digital numeric readout. The LED display is controlled by a control box (constructed recently and not used in filming), and when the control knob is turned the LED display can be adjusted from 0 to 255. The lights are all in good working order and when turned on at the attached control box, the numeric readout goes from 00 to 255.
This item shows minor signs of wear from production use, but remains in excellent overall condition.
