Fra Pavel’s (Simon McBurney) notebook from Chris Weitz’s 2007 adventure film The Golden Compass.

Pavel’s notebook can be seen when Azriel (Daniel Craig) is speaking about Dust and showing the group of scholars the images of the man and his daemon. Fra Pavel begins to write notes in his book. The notebook has a brown leather cover and a maroon button with the Magisterium’s seal on the front, and a piece of cord to secure the book. Inside there are several pages of vertical scribbles which were likely made on set by the actor during scenes. It has only minor additional wear from production use and remains in excellent condition.
