Tyler Durden's (Brad Pitt) Driver's Licence
Stock # 97595
“I am Jack's inflamed sense of rejection.”
Tyler Durden’s (Brad Pitt) drivers licence from David Fincher’s 1999 twisted drama Fight Club.
When a desperate insomniac, a man known as the Narrator (Edward Norton), decides he needs an escape from the humdrum of his ordinary life he meets the charismatic Tyler Durden (Brad Pitt); a man who is the antithesis of himself. The pair start a bare-knuckle fight club, wreak havoc on society and terrorize all around them.
The licence belongs to Tyler Durden (Pitt) – the Narrator’s alter ego. It features official details including license number, date of birth, expiry date, name, address, social security number, distinguishing features and his signature. It is interesting to note that Durden’s address is the dilapidated and abandoned house that the two men move into. The license also features Durden’s photo and the Department of Motor Vehicles badge.
Although it is not obviously seen in the film, there is a scene where the Narrator goes into Durden’s bedroom and sees dozens of driver’s licenses stuck to the back of the door, with the sign ‘Human Sacrifices’ over the top. It is in excellent condition.
