A Set Temple Royal Guard upper body costume used in the Arnold Schwarzenegger classic Conan the Barbarian. This impressive set was worn by one of the surly guards of the cult led by the barbaric Thulsa Doom (James Earl Jones) and can be seen at numerous points throughout the movie. The set consists of a black metal and leather helmet with cream cloth wrap, leather armour fastened with leather straps with scaled protective shoulder guards and large moulded resin serpent chest emblem sprayed metallic silver, long leather gauntlets bound with leather straps and finally a set of protective leather skirts to match the shoulder guards, secured to a black leather belt embellished with ornate round brass coloured emblems. A stunning and memorable costume from the movie.
