Light-Up Replica Blaster and Display
Stock # 127260
“All those moments will be lost in time... like tears in rain... Time to die.”
A light-up replica blaster and display, modelled after those seen in the production of Ridley Scott’s 1982 sci-fi thriller film Blade Runner.
A blade runner must pursue and terminate four replicants who stole a ship in space, and have returned to Earth to find their creator.
This replica is modelled after the weapon carried by Deckard (Harrison Ford) and his colleagues. It is predominantly made of metal, with a plastic grip and plastic battery compartment on the underside of the barrel. It has several moving parts, including the trigger and the lever on the right-hand side can be used to ‘cock’ the weapon. When powered and switched on the red LEDs on the side and bottom illuminate. The green LEDs on the left side do not currently light up.
The blaster comes with a clear acrylic display stand. The stand has a plaque which reads ‘2019 Detective Special Model CS&T Worldcon – Model by Richard Coyle = RACprops – Special Thanks to Karl Tate and Phil Steinschneider – Model #006 of 1000’.
The replica has some wear from age and use, including some parts which are loose to the touch, most notably the battery pack and the grip. Overall it remains in a good condition.
Materials: Ferrous Metals, Plastic, Rubber.
