L.A. Cityscape Miniature Display.

”Have you ever retired a human by mistake?”
A display of Los Angeles model miniature cityscape components from Ridley Scott’s sci-fi thriller Blade Runner.
Set in an alternate version of 2019, blade runner Rick Deckard (Harrison Ford) is called out of retirement to hunt down a group of rogue replicants. Vehicles are seen driving the streets of dystopian Los Angeles throughout the film.
Miniatures were used to build Los Angeles cityscapes and create the detailed ‘Hades Landscape' seen during the opening sequence. Skyscape pieces were used for miniature Spinner sequences and formed part of a large, interchangeable set, lined horizontally to create the intimidating LA skyline. This set is comprised of two skyscape pieces, both made of etched brass, with the front finished in black, and the back has a bare metal finish. Holes are cut into each component to allow light to shine through.
These extremely detailed components come presented in a custom-built display with laser cut mount board featuring the movie title and a still of the Los Angeles cityscape from the film. The cityscape components display light wear to the black finish but remain in a very good production-used condition.
Materials: Wood, Acrylic, Paper, Card, Ferrous Metals.
