Michael Murphy's (Taylor Kitsch) Bullet-Hit Stunt Tactical Vest and Accessories from Peter Berg's 2014 war drama, Lone Survivor. Tasked with capturing or killing the notorious Taliban leader, Ahmad Shah, SEAL Team 10 encounters more than they bargained for during their dangerous mission, Operation Red Wings. Murphy can be seen wearing this tactical rig during his mission in Afghanistan. To guarantee the accuracy of the film, SEAL Team 10 survivor Marcus Luttrell was brought in to supervise the use and display of all tactical gear.
Manufactured by Pantac USA, this vest features numerous compartments for ammunition and accessories, and has been distressed by production with dirt and grime from the SEAL team's deadly mission. This rig has been outfitted with a tactical radio, smoke grenade, eight ammunition magazines, and two explosive grenade rounds. These accessories have been constructed from foam rubber, allowing them to be lightweight.
Murphy's vest displays two large holes where squibs were detonated to simulate being struck by bullets (see photos). This vest has been marked for use by Murphy with "Murphy Stunt 3" inscribed using black ink. Although this item features wear from production distressing and stunt work, it remains in overall excellent used condition.
